Start with the job, not the model number. Handheld all-system scanners (CRP123X Plus, CRP129X Plus) diagnose every module on a car. The CRP919X adds bi-directional tests, ECU coding and 31+ resets. Professional tablets (PRO3 APEX, PROS Elite, V+ 5.0 PRO3) add coding, programming and J2534. The IMMO Elite handles keys and immobilisers, and truck modules add 24V to a compatible tablet.

No. They are all-system handhelds: they read every module on the vehicle, not only engine, transmission, ABS and SRS. We don't stock four-system handhelds that only cover those four systems.

It is the question we're asked most. Coverage depends on the tool, the vehicle model and year, and the software version, so we check your specific vehicles rather than promise a blanket yes. WhatsApp us the make, model and year and we'll confirm before you buy.

No. Both are modules that add heavy-duty 24V coverage to a compatible LAUNCH X431 tablet. Without a compatible tablet the module can't be used, so check compatibility before you order.

We stock the standard SmartLink C V2.0, which works with X431 V+, PRO3, PRO3S and PRO5 series tablets. Don’t confuse it with the SmartLink C HD Lite, a different version made for other tablets: the two are not interchangeable.

No. The HD3 is the older truck module and is not compatible with the X431 PRO5. If you have a PRO5, the SmartLink C 2.0 is the module to look at.

LAUNCH restricts software updates by sales territory. A unit bought outside its intended territory may never receive updates, and a diagnostic tool without updates loses its value as new vehicles arrive.

After the free update period, renewals run at roughly US$350 a year for 12V car software and US$499 a year for truck and diesel software. Budget for this when you compare prices.

You can return an item within 30 days if it is unused, in the same condition you received it and in its original packaging, with proof of purchase. Downloadable software can't be returned and sale items can't be refunded. WhatsApp us before you send anything back so we can confirm the return address.
